Welcome! It is a beautiful spring day at my house. The pollen is almost gone, and the summer heat has not arrived yet. My publisher will be unveiling the book cover for Norm and Ginger Enter the Hidden soon. It will be a milestone moment for me to see the cover. I look forward to sharing it with you. Thank you everyone who took the time to vote for your favorite on the Koehler book cover poll!
Everything is on schedule for the book to be released this summer. If you have not signed up for my newsletter, please take a moment and subscribe. I will keep everyone up to date on the latest news, giveaways and more! The launch date should be announced soon as well as opportunities to peak inside, meet the characters and read the first chapter.
Today my English mastiff, Lilly, and I are out exploring the yard, which is a favorite inspiration spot when I was writing my book. While there is not an English mastiff in this book, Lilly provided a ton of doggie inspiration for me. She interacts with all kinds of creatures, big and small, in the most endearing ways. Today while we were sitting in the sun she heard a lizard scurrying around in the bushes. Rather than being stealthy she nosedived on top of the shrub, trying to make a new friend. Lucky for the lizard his reflexes were faster than her 190-pound frame. Her clumsy, goofy personality is channeled through one of the book’s main characters.
I hope you will read, and most important, enjoy my book! Let me hear from you! I will continue to share the places and things that inspire me as I write. What places inspire you and bring joy?
